We just wrapped up our favorite week of the year—Fire Prevention Week 2024! 🔥
This year’s theme was “Smoke Detectors: Make Them Work for You!” and we had a fantastic time visiting 10th Street Elementary, Saint Irenaeus, and Redeemer Primary to teach students about fire safety.
At 10th Street Elementary, we hosted a trivia game where students could win t-shirts by answering fire prevention questions—teachers even joined in on the fun! The kids also took home fire prevention frisbees. Parents of students in grades 1-6, keep an eye out this week for information on our annual Fire Prevention Poster Contest.
At Saint Irenaeus and Redeemer Primary, we talked with the kids about fire safety and gave them a close-up look at the gear firefighters wear. They even had the chance to climb inside the fire truck and went home with coloring books and firefighter helmets.
