Municipal Liens

All of the below requirements must be satisfied before we can begin processing the Municipal Lien Request.

Municipal Lien Letter Requirements:

  • The cost is $35.00 per lien letter requested.
  • Each Party MUST complete Certificate of Occupancy and Use, only the Present Owner form needs filled out for a Refinance. (forms)
  • Oakmont Borough Office WILL NOT accept copies, we MUST have the original documents. There will be no exceptions made.
  • All forms must be in at least 5 days prior to your closing or the letter will not be completed.
  • With the request, include how you would like your letter sent: Emailed, Faxed or US Mail (must provide a prepaid envelope)

Requests for Tax Certification Letters sent to the Borough Office, along with any fess, will be returned to the sender.
