Providing these opportunities reflects Council’s commitment to fostering civic engagement and ensuring that the voices of all generations contribute to the growth and development of our community.
🟡⚫🟡 Dimitri Hong is a junior at Riverview High School. He will serve a one year term for the 2026 year. ⚫🟡⚫ Sophie Yahnke is a sophomore at Riverview High School. She will serve a two year term for the 2026-2027 years. ⚫🟡⚫
Dimitri and Sophie both participated in a rigorous selection process, including a lengthy application, interviews, and written responses. They brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to these roles. We look forward to the unique ideas, fresh perspectives, and collaborative spirit that they will bring to the council.
