Community Service Resource Reserve Application Oakmont Borough governance relies on the active participation of residents who volunteer their time and effort to sustain the quality of community life by offering recommendations, suggestions, and research to Council. The purposes of the Community Service Resource Reserve is to gather a cadre of residents willing to serve their community as appointed members of various Boards, Commissions and Committees and to offer them a way of contributing to the betterment of their community. The responsibility of these volunteers is to provide policymakers and administrative personnel with technical expertise, experience and recommendations for actions. Please complete this form and indicate your interest in serving one or more of the Boards, Commissions, or Committees listed below by numbering 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices. Not all Boards, Commissions and Committees may have current vacancies; however, it is important to identify residents with an interest in serving since vacancies frequently occur unexpectedly, and it is helpful to know residents who are interested and available.
