Last night at 10:43 PM, the Oakmont Volunteer Fire Department responded to a backyard/fence fire threatening multiple structures. Within just 8.5 minutes from dispatch, 14 of our dedicated members had water on the fire, stopping it in its tracks before it could spread to 4 neighboring houses.
