On 7/6/24 at 20:24 The Oakmont Volunteer Fire Department was alerted on the first alarm in a multiple alarm structure fire in The Municipality of Penn Hills. 216 Truck and Engine responded and assisted with the task of fire extinguishment, search efforts, and overhaul operations. During fire operations a crew from the truck was able to rescue a cat from the structure without harm. While at the fire Sta. 235 was on standby in our station to cover the area. Great work to all involved!
