On 1/20/26 at 10:28 The Oakmont Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a commercial structure fire in the 100 block of 1st St in Blawnox Boro. Crews arrived to find the fire suppression system to have knocked the fire down but still had some fire and a smoke condition inside. Crews pulled a hand line and used extinguishers to put out the rest of the fire. Great work to all involved!
