On 5/10/25 The Oakmont Volunteer Fire Department along with our mutual aid partners Blawnox Volunteer Fire Company and Allegheny Valley Volunteer Fire Company took part in a Special Vehicoe Rescue class. The day started out with a tour at the PRT bus garage in Harmar and memebers learned on bus saftey and how to handle an emergency if a bus was involved in a crash. The second part of the day was learning how to stabilize, cut and extract patients on a school bus and a tractor trailer. Great Job to everyone who came out!
