On 4/29/2025 staring at around 5:30pm to well past midnight the Oakmont Volunteer Fire Department was all hands on deck.
A total of 26 members in 8 different vehicles answered a total number on 52 different calls last night.
Calls:
18 calls for wires down calls
10 calls forstructural collapse/trees into homes
15 calls for trees down with wires
3 calls for tree down onto cars
2 calls for medical assistance
2 calls for fire alarms
1 boat emergency rescue
1 electrical pole leaning onto structure
Great job to our crew from Oakmont Volunteer Fire Department, Parkview EMS, Oakmont Borough Police Department and the Oakmont Road Crew. All crews working simultaneously together to help everyone in the community. Amazing job thank you all!
