It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of retired firefighter, driver, and operator Fred Sorch.
Fred was a dedicated life member of the Oakmont Volunteer Fire Department, answering calls for over 28 years. He excelled as a driver and operator and was a force to be reckoned with at the Battle of the Barrel events.
Fred will be deeply missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
