Do NOT place contaminated cardboard, such as pizza boxes with grease or food residue, in the recycling bin. These can ruin the recycling process. Similarly, do not mix other materials like plastic, paper, or metal with cardboard recycling—doing so causes contamination, which makes the entire batch unrecyclable.
