The Borough of Oakmont recently formed the Dark Hollow Woods Committee. The committee’s primary objective is to restore and maintain the woods back to a nature preserve by creating a Master Plan. The Master Plan will guide implementation of projects over time including restoration of eroded trails and walking paths, riparian buffer repair, and reforestation.
