Since unveiling Oakmont Borough’s Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations in May 2023, the community has seen impressive environmental benefits. As of today, Oakmont’s EV charging network has helped avoid a staggering 7,413kg of greenhouse gas emissions. To put this into perspective, this impact is equivalent to growing 190 trees and letting them thrive for an entire decade!
This achievement underscores the borough’s commitment to a greener, more sustainable future. By supporting the adoption of electric vehicles and reducing harmful emissions, Oakmont continues to pave the way for a cleaner environment, one charge at a time.
